Line Producer - SAG Feature Film

What’s Next?

Having created this many projects in just four years (with many not shown here), my own unique stories gaining broad attention online, and a feature film under my belt, I now turn my attention to studio work. Every year a growing number of incredible fiction and rich narrative content is being put into production by major studios. They come with expansive and eager audiences, who are excited to see their favorite stories brought to life, and are looking for faithful adaptations of the source material. This appetite for incredible fiction will only continue to grow, and I want to be a part of it.

If you like what you see and you’re looking for an experienced producer, please consider reaching out to me via the form below.

In 2023, I was asked to join a small team on a rising feature film project set to film in summer 2024 (releasing 2025), initially as a production coordinator. Brought on for my calm leadership skills, and my ability to organize the disorganized- I had no idea just how much those skills would soon be stretched to their limit…

  • Two days before we were to leave for our shooting location at Lake Arrowhead, the director came to me with a budget in shambles. The previous line producer had to suddenly leave the project, due to supposed extenuating circumstances, and left behind a budget riddled with errors, duplicate costs, and in horrific disarray. Asked to suddenly step up to the position of line producer, I spent the next 48 hours securing everything in the near $180,000 budget. From equipment vendor pickup and payment, to cast and crew accommodations on site, many of the fundamentals critical to an operation of this scale, were missing. Several of these errors threatened to delay, and thus likely end, the entire production.

The first four days were some of the most difficult yet exhilarating days of my life. Concurrent 16 hour days spent solving problems that felt insurmountable, and I certainly wasn’t solving them alone. Behind me was a team of kind, patient, and hard working men and women that poured their heart into making it happen. I couldn’t be more proud of what we achieved. Ultimately, not only was I able to salvage the budget for timely use during filming, I was also able to ensure that we came in under budget, giving the production a head start on post production costs.

First Original Content Reaching 240,000 views on YouTube (2024)

With no pre-existing audience, in December of 2024 I published an original animated story to YouTube which gained nearly a quarter of a million views. While I put nearly 130 hours into its creation and was confident in the quality of my work, I still never could have expected the kind of response I’d receive…

Executive Production Internship at Alan Becker Studios (2022)

In 2022, in the final semester of my senior year at Pace University I was awarded a highly competitive, two month paid internship as an Executive Production Assistant at Alan Becker Studios, one of the largest YouTube channels on the platform with over 7.9 billion views…

  • This internship was aimed at giving a talented fan an in depth understanding of how a massive animation pipeline was run. As Executive Production Assistant, Alan tasked me with finding ways to optimize the communication and upload pipeline for his team of over 25 animators across the globe. From storyboard to upload, I learned everything there was to know about the creation of several full Alan Becker episodes.

Out of many hundreds of applicants, I was awarded this internship because I had the discipline to create not only several frame by frame animations of my own, but also for my demonstrated skill in producing eight short films, while also being a full time student. I will be forever grateful for this opportunity, as it began a growing understanding in me that my greatest passion was in crafting and guiding the storytelling process.

Every frame, a moment

Each of these images is a still from an independent project, and represents my ever growing body of work. Since 2020, the goal has been to make, make, make. To constantly produce content of both higher quality and volume. In doing so, I’ve cultivated around me a network of many incredibly talented actors, artists, directors, and cinematographers. In an era where 1080p video can be shot on a smartphone, there’s never been a better time to capture a vision.

Some Personal Favorites:

Achievements

  • Line Producer and Production Coordinator for SAG Feature Film.

  • Led and managed a cast and crew of over 40 people…

    • Established connection with the National Director of Entertainment Contracts at SAG-AFTRA.

    • Managed vendors and equipment rentals and contracts.

    • Handled all cast and crew deal memos and payroll.

    • Worked closely with the director to ensure deadlines were met and creative vision was maintained.

    • Cast the film alongside the director and our two other top producers.

  • With thousands of extremely positive comments, a high audience retention rate, high click through rate, and an excellent like/dislike ratio of over 98%, I was blown away by the response. I didn’t really expect anyone to find the video, as it was the first piece of serious content I had ever uploaded. The fact that the YouTube algorithm took my work and carried it as far as it did, demonstrates my deep passion and mastery of the principles that govern the platform. This video also demonstrates my unique love for making my own original content, my capacity for storytelling, and my abilities as an editor and animator. The people Around Me

Over the last seven years, I’ve had the incredible privilege to be surrounded by some most uniquely talented, and more importantly, kind hearted individuals I’ve ever met. They are writers, directors, actors and producers, and I’m so proud to call them all my closest friends. With limitless creativity and the hearts of lions, it was alongside them that I accomplished many of the things written about above. It takes a great deal of hard work and dedication to pull together one short film, let alone the several dozen we’ve created between us. There is no team I’d rather be a part of, and we’ve only just begun.

The STORIES THAT INSPIRE ME

There is simply not enough space on this page to, in any reasonable fashion, show the sheer volume of stories that inspire me. My love of fiction however, is something that can be articulated.

Journeys that defy the odds, heroes terrified of their circumstances, and gods who question the value of their existence. These are the stories that inspire me. It’s not just that they take me somewhere I’ve never been before, or that they are filled with characters larger than life. The best fiction reveals the human in the hero. It puts a mirror in front of its audience and says, “see?” It is the greatest expression of empathy.

Great fiction is, paradoxically, the way I explore the world around me. It inspires my creativity and my curiosity. Hidden in fiction and fable are almost always lessons, and by virtue that they are written by other people, they are lessons that often apply to me. They are a reminder that my human experience is one shared with so many who, on the surface, seem so different from me.

To name but a tiny fraction of the stories that have shaped who I am along the way, among my favorites are; Frieren - Beyond Journey’s End, Interstellar, The Lord of the Rings, Avatar the Last Airbender, and the series I’m currently reading- The Stormlight Archive, by Brandon Sanderson.
